All relationships go through periods of stress, distance, or disconnection but long-lasting patterns can create chasms between partners that can feel hard to cross.
I work with couples who are feeling stuck in patterns of conflict, communication breakdown, lack of trust, or intimacy problems. Using a combination of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Schema Therapy, I help couples better understand their underlying needs and the deeper emotions that sit beneath protective behaviours.
Together, we work to shift unhelpful cycles, strengthen emotional safety, and rebuild a deeper sense of connection, warmth, and trust.
Couples therapy is not about blame — it’s about finding your way back to each other, creating space for open communication, and building a relationship that feels more secure, respectful, and supportive for both partners.
Adolescence can be a rough time - not just for teens but for parents too. Teenagers are figuring out who they are, dealing with big emotions, facing social pressures, and trying to balance growing independence with a need for support. It’s a stage of life that can feel confusing, intense, and very often overwhelming.
I work with teenagers who are experiencing anxiety, OCD, low mood, stress, social struggles, or the effects of trauma. I also support neurodivergent young people with executive skill challenges, who see and experience the world a little differently. My goal is to create a space where teens feel safe, respected, and truly listened to.
Using an approach called DNA-V (based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), I help teens learn how to manage difficult thoughts and feelings, build stronger relationships, and discover what really matters to them. Therapy is about more than just coping — it’s about helping young people grow into themselves with confidence, connection, and a clearer sense of direction for their lives.
I work with children experiencing anxiety, low mood, and a variety of behavioural challenges, providing a supportive space where they can express themselves, build coping skills, and strengthen emotional wellbeing.
My specialist area is working with children who have experienced trauma and are living in out-of-home care. These children often carry the weight of early disruptions in safety, attachment, and identity. Using a combination of play-based techniques, Dyadic Developmental Therapy, and life story work, I help them explore their past, express difficult emotions, and develop a more compassionate understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Therapy also focuses on strengthening connections with caregivers, fostering secure attachments, and building the foundations for improved behaviour, emotional regulation, and long-term relational healing. At the heart of my work is helping children feel safe, valued, and whole — with a strong sense of who they are and where they belong.
